I have had the privilege of designing and supplying yet another Kitchen for a very dear friend who has recently moved house to their ‘forever’ home in Poynton.

I supplied and fitted a kitchen 5 years ago in their other house and they wanted the same quality and style in their new home as they were so pleased with the longevity and unique features which REMPP offered them.

An extension was added onto the back of the house which were to house a large bi-fold doors opening up onto their new landscaped garden and outdoor seating area comprising of a large table, seating, wine and champagne fridges and a fabulous BBQ and cooking area

Tracy’s specification was to have a feature of the island unit to ensure the space was being incorporated into a snug/TV area with informal seating at the island unit.

We came up with the suggestion of the angled island which brought shape and a fabulous area for the built in hob and extractor and seating area.

Tracy wanted 3 of the built in Siemens ovens to fulfil her cooking requirements and full size fridge and freezer to ensure plenty of storage space along with the built in pantry units with internal drawers to aid easy access. She chose the Quooker boiling water tap which compliments the acoustics within such a big area.

We worked along with her chosen builder especially for the extraction for the hob area as this needed to be laid in the floor prior to the new area being concreted.

A full height Liebherr wine fridge was incorporated for all Tracy’s entertaining with family and friends and this was changed into the Concrete slate finish matching the base units allowing a fabulous contrast with the Icy white matt finished doors and the tactile Glacier white Corian. Using the Corian surface ensured there were not joints on show especially

With creating the angle to invite interest to the design . this was complimented by the Vintage oak unique open shelf niche area with built in drawers and lighting , matching the 50mm thick angled breakfast bar, bringing warmth to the room.

The utility room was fitted out using the concrete art door finish as the worktop as a compliment to the overall kitchen finishes.

Both the kitchen and the utility room were dressed with the grey mirror oozing glamour and depth to both areas and reflecting the ‘outdoor in’ look in the kitchen.

We were thrilled in how the install proceeded and this was project managed along side the builder making all our daily work a pleasure and this was reflected with Tracy and Terry’s delight with the finished job.

It truly has been a pleasure yet again working with them both on this fabulous project and wish them many years of happiness in their new home.
